Personal Exercise Log

Daily documentation of exercise provides positive feedback, drugs which will motivate you to continue. Look at your workout log to view your accomplishments and know how to progress your workouts. Many experts agree that as you increase the intensity of your workouts you will see greater results. Completing cardiovascular exercise, and progressively making it more challenging, is important to maintain a healthy weight and heart.

  • Physical activity improves quality of life.
  • Physical activity extends longevity, protects against the development of CHD, stroke, hypertension, obesity, non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, colon cancer, and depression.
  • Physical activity helps maintain full functioning and independence among the elderly.

You will need to complete and record a total of 40 hours of physical activity.  Some examples of physical activity can include but are not limited to the following:

  • brisk walking
  • running
  • biking
  • soccer
  • dance
  • basketball
  • swimming
  • down hill skiing
  • cross country skiing
  • shoveling snow
